Hmm, it's been a while since the last journal entry (September 23), and I feel like writing about the weekend that has been.

NP: Magical Trick Society - Cross-Examination ~ Moderato ~ Cadenza || This arrangement has more-than-godly synth, I swear.

Friday started out as hell because there were two consecutive long tests right off the bat: English and Chemistry, in that order. English wasn't too hard, but Chemistry was absolute death. Of course, it didn't help that I didn't study much...but still, you know?

NP: Magical Trick Society - Phoenix Wright ~ Objection! ~ Cadenza

After trudging through those two hurdles, the day started to fly by faster than usual. Before long, it was already the final period, with dismissal being 45 minutes away. I couldn't wait for Computer class to finish, because my month-long patience would finally pay off when the final bell rang. And when it did, I went back to the classroom as fast as I could, packed my bags, and headed home.

NP: Blink-182 - Dammit

As soon as I arrived home, I got on the accursed treadmill as I am forced to every single day. I hate the forced exercise, seriously. But after getting that over, I got into casual attire, and headed to the mall with my mom to buy a sleeve for my MacBook (she just gave me her old one, so stop thinking I'm rich). I picked one with a boom box design. I would've turned it down for its design if not for the practicality it showed thanks to its thin build.

NP: Blink-182 - What's My Age Again?

One purchased notebook sleeve later, I went to pick Christine up at the train station that connects directly to TriNoma. I was so happy to see her after nearly a month, that I couldn't help smiling at her so widely. I wanted to hug and kiss her right there and then, but there were too many people who would see us. XD

NP: Blink-182 - The Party Song || BUT THAT NIGHT I LEARNED THAT SOME GIRLS TRY TOO HARD~

Thank you Mang Albert for bringing the two of us home afterwards. We spent quality time in my room pretty much the whole time. It seemed criminally short, actually. Three hours, more or less. But it definitely was time well spent. I'd rather spend three hours holding her hand than an entire day doing nothing couples are supposed to do.

NP: Blink-182 - Man Overboard || So sorry, it's over~

Before she was supposed to leave for home, my mom invited her to eat dinner with us at the mall. She agreed, but said she felt guilty about everything that my family was giving her and not being able to do anything in return. I assured her that my family loved having her around for things like that, and that we don't do that every day anyway. So it was all good!

NP: Blink-182 - Stockholm Syndrome

Then my mom asked her if she wanted to watch a movie with us. It wasn't easy to convince her because she already felt guilty enough. v_v She said yes in the end, though, albeit reluctantly. :< XD G-Force was a LAME movie, seriously. Out of the tens of jokes pulled by those damn guinea pigs, I counted two that were actually funny. They could've at least put some adult humor in there. The movie also seemed to love using Black Eyed Peas' songs. Boom Boom Pow and I Gotta Feeling were played like, four times each for the entire duration.

NP: Blink-182 - Another Girl, Another Planet

After the movie, we went home to transfer vehicles, since my parents were going out that night, and I had to bring Christine back home to her dorm. Thanks to Mang Albert once again for driving for us. The ride to Christine's dorm was a lot more fun than the movie itself. XD We got to talk more about things (I forget about what) on the way. I also got to see the actual City of Manila after quite some time away from it. It's a really dirty and poorly-lit place. I fear for her safety on those streets, actually...

NP: Blink-182 - The Rock Show || HANGIN' OUT BEHIND THE CLUB ON THE WEEKEND~

Alas, the day came to an end when we arrived at her dorm. I didn't want to part with her just yet...but she had school the next day. So I just gave her a kiss goodbye and that was that.

NP: Blink-182 - Anthem Part Two || We really need to see this through~

Actually, no, that wasn't that. I got home and saw on my table the letter she wrote for me! "Good luck opening this, LMAO," were the words written on under the tape she used to seal the folds. It wasn't easy to open without damaging the paper, as expected. XD I won't go into detail on the letter's content anymore, but I'll just say that it made me sleep with a smile on my face. It was just one page, but I was so happy to have received something from her (and it was handwritten, too)! I said good night to her on my cell phone as soon as I finished reading.

NP: Blink-182 - First Date

Friday was loads of fun, all in all. She had fun too, she told me. SUCCESSFUL DATE WAS SUCCESSFUL. <3

NP: Blink-182 - Stay Together For the Kids

On to Saturday! I started the day by meeting up with the Palig group for rehearsals, with my trusty Cuban box drum in tow. It was a good day--the sun was out, no rain, and just the right temperature. We ate lunch at Chowking, where I ordered the Emperor Beef Noodles meal. I didn't get my money's worth with that food. :< Had dessert with a Jollibee chocolate fudge sundae.

And that's my weekend in a journal entry. Now it's Sunday, so I'll probably do nothing but play video games and go to Mass. It feels good to write again.

deviantID

I recently revived my deviantART account because I got inspired to start writing poetry. You can, obviously, have a look at said poetry on this page.

You may notice that my poems don't actually sound like poems, and are very prose-y as a result of my very frank way of writing poems. I still think they get the intended message across, though, and the tone of each poem is retained despite the lack of clever wordplay.

Other than that, I also occasionally do some digital art, as you can see by the signatures that are on display in my gallery. I'm not very good at it, to be honest, but I enjoy doing it anyway.

And in case you haven't noticed, my name is mainframe004. XD

DISCLAIMER: I do not own the stock image of Nodoka Miyazaki in my avatar, nor do I own the rights to Nodoka as a character in Negima!. I do not know who owns the stock image, so all rights reserved to whoever made it. The character belongs to Ken Akamatsu.
